The ideal candidates should have expertise in immigration law and preferably, experience in business immigration. As an Immigration Solicitor at DV Solicitors, you will be responsible for providing legal advice and representation to clients on various immigration matters, including visa applications, asylum and human rights cases, appeals, and more.
Requirements:
- Qualified and experienced immigration solicitor with a strong track record in handling immigration cases.
- Knowledge of business immigration will be considered an advantage.
- Ability to supervise junior staff and provide guidance and mentorship.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact with clients from diverse backgrounds.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a high volume of cases in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Professionalism and integrity in dealing with clients and colleagues.
Responsibilities:
- Provide legal advice and representation to clients on various immigration matters.
- Prepare and submit visa applications, asylum and human rights cases, and appeals on behalf of clients.
- Attend court hearings and represent clients in immigration proceedings.
- Conduct legal research and stay updated with changes in immigration law and policy.
- Supervise and mentor junior staff, providing guidance and support.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and professional standards.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation.
- Collaborate with other departments within the firm as needed.
