Only nationals of countries outside the European Economic Area (EEA) and Switzerland need to apply for a UK Visa as family visitors. The reasons might include visiting family, doing business, to get married or for medical reasons.

What are the Requirements to apply for Family Visit Visa?

  • Spouse, civil partner, father, mother, son, daughter, brother, or sister.
  • A person you have been living within a genuine and subsisting relationship, like marriage or civil partnership, for at least 2 years before the day you apply.
