With over five years of experience in the legal industry, Shumail predominantly trained as an Immigration and Human Rights caseworker in a London firm. She is currently one of DV Solicitors’ most sought-after Trainee Legal Executive— dealing with all residential property matters including Islamic Finance.
Shumail was born in the Middle East. Her passion for learning began from a young age, a value she developed— making her attain top academic marks and a healthy lifestyle. Surrounded by family and friends, she grew up with a lively and fun childhood.
Shumail achieved her Bachelors and Masters in Law from the University of Bedfordshire and is currently studying for her CILEX qualification.
Her family’s hard work and dedication to career and healthy family relationships significantly influenced pursuing law. Her interaction with many inspiring females in the legal industry invigorated her passion for going the extra mile. Her journey was never plain sailing, but with grace and perseverance, she achieved all that she had to just in time!
Shumail is not a stranger to the DV Team. Although she formally joined the law firm in October 2018. Previously, she undertook work experience at the firm in 2013 as a young student. Her extrovert personality merged with a passion for client care made a superb client portfolio that she upholds today.
In her free time
When away from the legal world, she likes to keep active and engage in outdoor sports. She particularly enjoys hiking, rock climbing, and long-distance running. She has a passion for music and drama, reading both fiction and non-fiction books – one of her favourite authors is Mr. Khaled Hossaini.
