Born in the heart of Luton, Wasim Akhtar experienced a normal childhood shaped by whims and curiosity. Growing up in Luton gave him the perfect environment to contemplate and figure out the path he wanted to take. From a young age, he was already holding the golden heart to pursue law.
He went to study at the University of Bedfordshire, where he was motivated to pursue further education in law. He firmly believes that all progress happens outside your comfort zone, thus pushed himself to the limit, and gave it all to qualify as one of the most sought-after solicitors that he is today.
Wasim is known by his colleagues as a friendly professional who understands even the slightest stress of the matter experienced by clients. He is meticulous and efficient when it comes to handling cases— ensuring the client’s transaction is dealt with as smoothly in a timely manner.
When asked if he has any past regrets, “I wouldn’t do anything differently as I love my job, and I love where I am in life” he stated. He aims for continued growth and ensures that everyone in the team progresses collectively.
When not facing clients, Wasim enjoys playing football, cricket, going to the gym, and spending time with family and friends.
Wasim is currently based in Deo Volente’s Luton office as a conveyancing solicitor. He specialises in residential conveyancing and has a wealth of experience in sales, purchases, remortgages, transfer of equity, right to buy, shared ownership, first registrations, and reconstruction of titles, assents, and lease extensions. He also gives consultations and manages Islamic finance transactions.
